There is nothing like being in Hong Kong during the annual Sevens bash, the atmosphere sizzles as the worldwide rugby fraternity descents for this unique sporting carnival. Born over drinks at the Old Hong Kong Club, ‘The Greatest Rugby Show on Earth’ first took place in 1976. We at Gullivers quickly realised that whilst the idea of travelling to Hong Kong for a weekend was a crazy novelty, the event was so appealing that rugby fans would find it irresistible – and so it’s proved.
In 2010 Gullivers celebrates its 30th anniversary of watching Sevens in Hong Kong and Gareth ‘Cooch’ Chilcott celebrates his 20th anniversary. Our years of expertise in Hong Kong are second to none, meaning you can just relax and enjoy the exhilarating rugby and the advantages of staying at the legendary Excelsior Hotel, home to the equally legendary Dickens Bar, a favourite gathering point for the rugby crowd.

Nothing was too much trouble and when things run as smoothly as they did, its easy to forget its because of hard work behind the scenes that nobody sees and not luck! As usual the Excelsior was outstanding in the service and couldn't do enough for you. Thanks to everyone concerned for making the trip so enjoyable.
