Going Solo
02 Jul 2009 -
If you are a passionate cricket or rugby supporter and you love travelling then don't be afraid of travelling solo!
We have many solo travellers on our supporters tours, and there's no better way to meet new, like-minded friends by travelling on our tours.
Mary Poulter from Peterborough is currently travelling solo on one of our Lions supporter tours in South Africa. As an avid Lions fan she travelled with her husband on the 2001 Lions Tour to Australia but in 2005 her husband sadly passed away. Still wanting to support the Lions, she booked onto the Leopard Brown tour with Gullivers and has been making lots of new friends, spending two weeks with the 40-strong group of Lions fans.
Above Mary is pictured centre with ex Springbok, Rob Louw (left) and Gullivers tour manager Simon Jones (right) at one of our Lions rugby forums in South Africa.
