England Win Women's Cricket World Cup

England have been crowned the 2009 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup champions after a four wicket victory over New Zealand.
The tournament, which was held in Australia from 7-22 March, saw England become the take their third World Cup title.
England’s fast bowler Nickyi Shaw was named Player of the Match, despite being a last minute replacement for Jenny Gunn who was ruled due to a calf injury.
The team are now hoping to continue the success this summer in the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 and the Women’s Ashes Series.
