If you have never been to Dublin before then you're in for a real treat.
The buzzing atmosphere, combined with the world renowned friendliness of the Irish, makes Dublin one of the most vibrant cities in Europe. This is an extremely popular away game for Welsh fans thanks to the warm welcome and the Irish passion for rugby.
No trip is complete is complete without sampling the black stuff and for that extra bit of luxury, you should try a black velvet - stout and champagne. You cannot fail to be warmed by the Irish spirit and enjoy the 'craic' in many lively pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs through the city.
So get ready to fall in love with Dublin, and not just once, it will happen over and over again!
Things to do in Dublin
Dublin is one of the friendliest and lively cities in Europe, with a spirit like no other. There is plenty to do there, with great museums, landscape gardens and some great shopping, but the best part of Dublin has to be the socialising with the friendliest locals in Europe.
- Visit the home of Guinness at the world-famous Guinness Storehouse and discover its 250 year history. You can also sample the black stuff in Gravity Bar, Ireland's highest bar, with magnificent views over Dublin city centre.
- Enjoy live music and a warm welcome at tourist hot-spot, The Temple Bar - a must do! The area surrounding Temple Bar is lined with cobbled streets and home to many other popular bars and restaurants.
- See the beautiful architecture of Trinity College in the heart of Dublin, founded in 1592. Visit the Old Library and see where playwrights such as Samuel Beckett and Oscar Wilde studied.
- Take a stroll down Grafton Street for some shopping in the smart department stores and boutiques. A great opportunity to pick up some special souvenirs and look out for Molly Malone.
