Geraldine Norris - Project Manager

I started at Gullivers in 1998, after a year working and travelling in Australasia and South East Asia which inspired me to pursue a career in the travel industry. This, combined with having played rugby at university, meant that getting a job working on Rugby World Cup 1999 seemed just about perfect!

During the eleven years I've spent with Gullivers I have worked on many different and varied events from RBS 6 Nations to cricket tours to India and Sri Lanka, and been lucky enough to travel to many exciting destinations. A highlight for me was in 2003 watching England win the Rugby World Cup Final in Sydney - one of my favourite places in the world, and an amazing, heart-stopping evening that I'll never forget. I am now project manager for the British and Irish Lions Tour 2009, and looking forward to going back to South Africa for what will be my third Lions Tour.

Away from work I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors hiking and cycling, although when the weather is not so great I retreat to the gym. I also enjoy eating out and the odd glass of red wine!
