ICC World Twenty20 England 2009

ICC World Twenty20 England 2009
5-21 June
After the inaugural event taking place in South Africa in 2007, the 2009 event was the second ICC World Twenty20 and saw the men's and women's tournament integrated for the first time.
The men's tournament (consisting of 12 teams) was played across Lord's Trent Bridge and The Oval, whilst the women's tournament (consisting of eight teams) was hosted at Taunton.
The men's final of the ICC World Twenty20 was held at Lord's where Shahid Afridi charged Pakistan to glory over Sri Lanka, defeated by eight wickets.
The women's final of the ICC World Twenty20 saw England triumph against New Zealand at Lord's. Claire Taylor finished 39 not out to see England to a six wicket success.
Gullivers Travel Customer Service is undoubtedly 5 star. Due to problems with the international shipping company, we did not receive our event tickets on-time overseas. In the midst of a major event, Gullivers Sports Travel representatives made themselves available to us and were extremely responsive to answering all our questions any time of the day. I was able to call the agents on their mobile numbers and they were able to get my tickets reissued and delivered to me on time in my hotel room. Do not hesitate to buy tickets from Gullivers even if you are buying internationally.
