Sports Tours to Namibia

In the last few years, more teams have ventured to Namibia on tour. Most combine the trip with time spent in South Africa – but a 10 day tour to Namibia on its own would be truly memorable. Fixtures are possible at all levels for cricket, rugby, football, hockey and netball. 

Tours traditionally take in Windhoek, Swapokmund and Walvis Bay and then finish with a safari in the world famous Etosha National Park. One thing for sure, is that there is no other place like Namibia on earth!

There's plenty of sightseeing trips to enjoy during your sports tour to Namibia, including quad biking on the sand dunes of Swakopmund, boat trips from Walvis Bay, sundowners at Windhoek and Mondesa township tour.

• Namibia is up there as one of my favourite destinations and Swakopmund is a must if you tour the country. The locals love the opportunity to play UK touring sides and when I visited, I was blown away by the many activities on offer in Namibia. A sports tour combining both South Africa and Namibia would certainly make for a fulfilling tour and I totally recommend Namibia for something slightly off the beaten track.
