Dominica
- Day 1 - IN FLIGHT/DOMINICA
- On arrival in Dominica, locate your ground handler who will show you to the transfer to your hotel in Roseau where you are accommodated for the next seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
Remainder of the day at leisure to explore the surrounding area. - Day 2 - DOMINICA
- Day at leisure.
Optional Excursion: Rainforest Funtour
Take a tour on a remodelled antique Bedford lorry into the rainforest. Experience the rainforests, Trafalgar Falls, Sulphur Springs and crystal clear rivers among other natural sites. Snacks & drinks included. (additional cost) - Day 3 - DOMINICA

Optional Excursion: Indian River & The Cabrits
Start with a 90 minute guided rowing boat tour of the Indian River, used on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Glide through mangroves and take in the incredible flora and fauna. Afterwards, transfer to the Cabrits and visit Fort Shirley ruins, a large 18th century British garrison which once housed 600 soldiers. Stop for a picnic lunch followed by a swim on a black sand beach. - Day 5 - DOMINICA

Optional Excursion: Whale Watching
Dominica’s deep warm waters are enjoyed by over 20 species of whales, including a resident population of female and juvenile Sperm Whales. - Day 8 - DOMINICA/IN FLIGHT
- This morning check out of the hotel. On the way to the airport there is the opportunity to stop for an excursion.
Optional Excursion: Kalinago Pride Experience
An up-close encounter with Carib Indian village life with opportunities for river swimming and roller coaster river tubing, Carib Indian style in the cool, crystal clear river. Spend time with the Kalinago and learn about their history and heritage. Includes lunch. (additional cost)
After the tour has finished continue to the airport for your return flight to Gatwick via Barbados.
Please note that Dominica departure tax of EC$55.00 per person is payable locally at the airport on departure.
On arrival at Barbados airport, collect your luggage and check in for your international flight back to Gatwick. - Day 9 - IN FLIGHT/GATWICK
- Early morning arrival back into Gatwick airport. After clearing customs and immigration please make your own onward travel arrangements.
