Port Elizabeth's seafront Port Elizabeth
Port Elizabeth

Port Elizabeth’s attractions are plentiful and diverse, with an emphasis on outdoor and nature activities. On the waterfront at Bayworld, visitors enjoy dolphin and seal shows and visits to the Museum of Natural and Cultural History. The oldest surviving Settler cottage, No 7 Castle Hill, is close by and Port Frederick is also worth a visit.

Off shore, Port Elizabeth offers exceptional fishing, scuba diving and game fishing from deep-sea boats, but if you want to stay on shore, popular malls and areas include Greenacres, The Bridge and Walmer Park. For evening entertainment, the Broadwalk Casino and Entertainment World is based on the beachfront and includes shopping, entertainment, dining and gaming.
