The Cape Winelands are some of the most scenic in the world with vineyards set against a backdrop of dramatic mountain ranges. With over 200 cellars, this is the largest wine producing region in the Western Cape and you are guaranteed to taste some of the best wines in the world. The fertile green valleys and climate conditions are perfect for the production of fine wines. Many of the buildings originate from the colonial Dutch period and are known for their distinctive gables and thatched roofs.
